Years ago, I made a very big mistake on trying to remove a so-called benign rug cleaning chemical from my house. The company advised me to use another one of their cleaners to remove it – with disastrous results! The chemicals should have never been combined (based on their own MSDS sheets), and my whole house became like a ‘burning cauldron’ of vapors!
I’ve tried for many years to remove it – using three other sets of filters to no avail. I just kept getting sicker and sicker!
Not long ago, in the middle of the night, I was on the Internet desperately looking for something that would help. I came across the data for EnviroKlenz, and it sounded like it might be the answer for me. I didn’t wake up my husband – but I sure wanted to! Our neighbors use strongly scented laundry detergent that drifts into our home and that had prevented us from being able to open our vents all summer, but now with the filter material in place we are able to have our vents open without any car exhaust, smells from laundry or the dairy farm next door getting through. I live in a condominium above a heavy smoker. After 9 months of sealing every electrical outlet, every pipe outlet, behind every baseboard, keeping the windows open and running two activated carbon filters from IQ Air, my children and I were still suffering from severe upper respiratory problems. Every day we had coughing, sore throat, and phlegm. Every night I would wake coughing, feeling like sand got shoved in my throat. I only recently found out about Enviroklenz, and to test it out I ordered their multi-purpose cleaner. I washed every wall, and all the carpets with this product. The smell in my condo changed. The customer service from Enviroklenz was phenomenal. They followed up with a call, and upon hearing about my problem sent me technical literature, had their scientists discuss with me the second-hand smoke problem and answer all the questions that I had. They told me about some of the components of cigarette smoke (including acetaldehyde which I did not previously know about) and gave me information about the current technologies in filtration. I read all the information in the technical data sheet, and researched and read their patents. Although I already had two carbon filters, I still went ahead and ordered the Enviroklenz purifier. On the day that it came (they got it to me in 2 days) I set up the unit in my bedroom and turned off the carbon filter. It was the first time in 9 months that I slept through the night. I was not woken up by violent coughing, and in the morning my throat was clear and there was no phlegm. I am completely in awe. I called them immediately and ordered a second unit for my children’s bedroom.

I was on the fence about buying an EnviroKlenz air unit because of the cost to my fixed budget and I have always had the notion that air purifiers were a big drag on the energy efficiency of my home but that is not the case. I keep my unit running for at least 15 hours per day and have not noticed any difference in my electric bill and more importantly than cost- I have the freshest air in my home that I have ever experienced.

Before purchasing our EnviroKlenz air purifier, we were seriously considering leaving our dogs outside or making a room for them in our basement. No joking as soon as I pulled in my driveway the smell wet dog reached from inside of the home to outside.After a while, we became nose blind to it until our children came to visit and told us they will not come back if the home continued to smell like this.
