This is the best air filtration system I have ever purchased. I’ve had at least 10 different brands. I love mine. We had 3 years of horrible fires in Nor Cal and this saved my lungs.

I have to scrape the foam strip off and cover the adhesive that won’t come off with foil tape to make the safe for my chem sensitivities. Honestly do not know why they use glue and a soft, chem smelling weatherstrip -type foam at all. It doesn’t need it, the HEPA filter has finger tightened bolts to hold it fast. And the machine sprays the foam smell out into the air, unfiltered, because it is on the bottom of filter, and everything filtered from the top – down and out. Gave me such a headache.Am removing strip and foil sealing a replacement filter I won’t need for another 10 months, to make sure it isn’t just absorbing the foam stink.Also, most EnviroKlenz items I’ve gotten this summer (2023) came with a perfumey smell I think is from the shipping — there were very smelly packing peanuts, somewhat smelly cardboard box and plastic on products, and the filters (mineral and Hepa) and the large air cleaner metal all were contaminated with this smell. FRAGRANCE IS A VOLATILE GAS AND GOES THRU PLASTIC WRAP. Since they say they can’t control what the shippers place smells like, I have asked EnviroKlenz to spend the extra 60 cents to cover their hundred dollar filters in foil (like my granola come individually wrapped, for pete’ssake) right when they are manufactured. I don’t want to have to outgas the things that are meant to remove VOCs in my environment…I consider that ‘used’.
